Professionals Are In A Better Position For Tax Advice Issues November 15, 2009
Posted by janey in : taxation , trackbackI am the kind of person who does not want to rely on anyone. I grew up in the orphanage and was trained to be independent as far as I can remember. As far as I can remember, I only relied on myself for every decision I made including filing my income tax return. I have not failed to fulfill my duties as an American in respect of paying my taxes in a timely manner and this is what I have been doing for the past two decades. However, after I got married, I started to rely on my spouse to help out with the company. Since he is an accountant, he was in charge of our finances and filing of income tax. Tax Help
After two years of being married, my husband and I had a falling out. He was a womanizer and was quite irresponsible. He left me when I was pregnant and the company I started back when I was single was barely afloat. I knew that I can face up with the challenge and I can recover the losses while taking care of my baby girl. For several months it was a living hell. But fortunately my divorce papers arrived and everything went back to normal or so I thought.
I received a call from the Internal Revenue Services just a few months after my divorce was granted. They told me of the tax debt my ex-husband and I incurred during the years when he was the one in charge of filing our taxes. I was so devastated when I heard this because I am sure I did not know about his activities at that time as I was in the hospital for problems during my pregnancy. My doctor required me to stay in bed during the first trimester of my pregnancy to avoid more complications. I didn’t know what to do with the IRS but I know that this has to be resolved soon otherwise the problem would just worsen.
I got fed up with my crying and I know that it wouldn’t help me resolve my problems; I asked my friends for referrals, anyone or any company that can help me out of this mess. I turned to the internet to seek solutions to my problem. I came across Preferred Tax Relief which is quite a blessing. I could seek innocent spouse relief from the IRS, this is what the tax experts advised me. Although I wasn’t comfortable relying on others to do the work on my behalf, I felt that I was in good hands with Preferred Tax Relief. After a month, the company was able to deliver my needs and provided me with the tax help I needed. My tax problems are over and done with, thanks to Preferred Tax Relief. Preferred Tax Relief
